The Company

Altimus Partners is a strategic investor focused on technology and innovation–thematic investments. The firm operates through a dual structure: as a Family Office, allocating proprietary capital to private and public markets via direct investments, co-investments, and third-party allocators; and as an Operating Partner, collaborating with other multi-family offices (MFOs) and startup innovators to guide thematic investments and co-invest alongside our partners.

This dual structure reflects our history as market innovators, serial investors, and former executives of major technology firms. It also expresses our conviction in thematic investing—balancing conviction with opportunity—within what we call the innovation market, where innovators become investors and investors become advisors.

The firm operates at the intersection of Private Capital, Innovation Arbitrage, and Strategic Investment, helping Family Offices generate alpha, manage beta, and invest in asymmetrical opportunities with the potential to disrupt industries. We also help founders raise capital, scale operations, monetize innovation, and bring startups to public markets

In a market where everything has changed—or is about to change—we help Family Offices rethink how value is created, how capital is allocated, and how asymmetrical investment opportunities can be structured around emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing), new operating models (agentic AI, cognitive computing, fintech, biotech), and new asset classes (digital assets, ArtFinance), among others.

Altimus Partners leverages its Family Office capital structure and deep familiarity with MFO and SFO operations and culture to help other Family Offices identify, qualify, and structure technology and disruptive innovation–thematic investments; allocate capital; optimize portfolio construction; modernize Family Office platforms and operations; and reduce operating costs and technology debt

We co-invest with Family Office partners—predominantly in early-stage equity markets—syndicate capital for larger transactions, and provide strategic guidance to navigate private capital market dynamics. Our focus includes addressing liquidity challenges, performing rigorous due diligence, identifying alternatives and digital assets, assessing valuations distorted by Big Tech’s early investments, and adapting to the shift from passive allocation to active investing—all amid rising Family Office operating costs and the growing demand among UHNW individuals to establish Family Offices.
